CES is releasing the first in a promised series of research agendas that are intended to influence the kinds of questions that scholars—both graduate students and faculty—will ask in their future research projects.
We offer this as an alternative to the narrower agendas that often emerge out of the preoccupations of particular disciplines. We think that scholars from multiple disciplinary contexts could productively engage with the questions that are being posed here.
We also welcome comments and criticism of our proposal. We think there should be much more debate and discussion of what questions scholars should be asking at this particularly dangerous historical moment.
